Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aybar Baysan kicked off to start the match. Altudef SK's Oğuzkan Timuroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sercan Çaykara in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute Aybar Baysan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzkan Timuroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altudef SK's Oğuzkan Timuroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sercan Çaykara in the 12th minute of play. Oğuzkan Timuroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybar Baysan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Sercan Çaykara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oğuzkan Timuroz. Altudef SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sercan Çaykara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Ulvi Kurhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ulvi Kurhan came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Altudef SK's Şinasi Kulan. But to his dismay, Şinasi Kulan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Şinasi Kulan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulvi Kurhan having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Altudef SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Danış Coşkunsu. When Süruri Hürsev fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altudef SK's protests and gave Süruri Hürsev a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Altudef SK! Oğuzkan Timuroz had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Çakabey Şamil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Çakabey Şamil notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Altudef SK's Oğuzkan Timuroz. Oğuzkan Timuroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hıdır İskandil hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Sercan Çaykara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzkan Timuroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oğuzkan Timuroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aybar Baysan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Bornova FK booed when Altudef SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağrı Eripek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulvi Kurhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şinasi Kulan in the 45th minute of the match. Altudef SK's Şinasi Kulan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şinasi Kulan was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Altudef SK's zone, Aybar Baysan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oğuzkan Timuroz came out of the goal and Aybar Baysan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sercan Çaykaras short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Oğuzkan Timuroz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 66 minutes into the match, Altudef SK's goal looked a bit too open when Aybar Baysan came free, but Oğuzkan Timuroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aybar Baysan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sercan Çaykara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Oğuzkan Timuroz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sercan Çaykaras short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Oğuzkan Timuroz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aybar Baysan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzkan Timuroz having to interfere. Oğuzkan Timuroz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aybar Baysan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 74 minute of play. Oğuzkan Timuroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybar Baysan in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altudef SK's goalkeeper Oğuzkan Timuroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oğuzkan Timuroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aybar Baysan's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When Bornova FK's Aybar Baysan in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altudef SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute, Sercan Çaykara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bornova FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Sercan Çaykara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Oğuzkan Timuroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Bornova FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bornova FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
