Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Baturhan Revha. In the 5th minute, Tayyar Özguc sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Beşiktaş's Şener Akatay didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aycan Torhan got free with Şener Akatay in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şener Akatay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kartal Heybetli in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aykutalp Özboga during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bandırmaspor booed when Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykutalp Özboga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aycan Torhan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Bandırmaspor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bandırmaspor's Kartal Heybetli got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aycan Torhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Şener Akatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Vedat Karasu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Doğukan Sermet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Yusuf Bahadır Batır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yusuf Bahadır Batır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Doğukan Sermet came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Bandırmaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğukan Sermet couldn't finish the play. If Aycan Torhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Beşiktaş's Şener Akatay got control of the ball when Kartal Heybetli tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yusuf Bahadır Batır to make the kick off. Şener Akatay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aycan Torhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Bandırmaspor's Atay Ethem got control of the ball when Ahmet Harun Erbay tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandırmaspor's goalkeeper Atay Ethem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Mustafa Numan Başesgioğlu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Beşiktaş's Şener Akatay. Şener Akatay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Bandırmaspor's Hadi Türcan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hadi Türcan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bandırmaspor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hadi Türcan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 62nd minute, Hadi Türcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Bandırmaspor defense, Yusuf Bahadır Batır kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atay Ethem. The Bandırmaspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atay Ethem should have stopped the shot. Yusuf Bahadır Batır's late challenge caught a Bandırmaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yusuf Bahadır Batır helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Yusuf Bahadır Batır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Numan Başesgioğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beşiktaş's Şener Akatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğukan Sermet in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Doğukan Sermet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şener Akatay was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After having played for 94 minutes, Atabek Sorgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandırmaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atabek Sorgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aycan Torhan in the 95th minute of play forced Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Şener Akatay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
