The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sait Türkoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altay Kavaş made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Yusuf Bahadır Batır sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Beşiktaş booed when ESNAF FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhittin Canfeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altay Kavaş was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sarper Eronat. In the 17th minute of the match, Yusuf Bahadır Batır got a very nice opportunity to score, but Altay Kavaş was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to ESNAF FK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Muhittin Canfeda hit a great ball. Doğa Tüzüner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şener Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğa Tüzüner in the 36th minute of play. Ayvaz Hazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şener Akatay having to interfere. Şener Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayvaz Hazar in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, ESNAF FK's Doğa Tüzüner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şener Akatay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

ESNAF FK's Faruk Kotuzhan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Şener Akatay but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Beşiktaş's Şener Akatay got control of the ball when Doğa Tüzüner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atalay Cesimi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Yusuf Bahadır Batır recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, ESNAF FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tayfun Hızlı came free, but Altay Kavaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayvaz Hazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusuf Bahadır Batır in the 80th minute of play forced ESNAF FK's goalkeeper Altay Kavaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğa Tüzüner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şener Akatay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of ESNAF FK booed when Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Harun Erbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altay Kavaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sait Türkoğlu went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
