In the 25th minute Umur Peker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Nasir Özdemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MALATYASPOR's Umur Peker got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Archie Chu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MALATYASPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Archie Chu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, MALATYASPOR's Tahir İren got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ahmet Nasir Özdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umur Peker in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nafiz Göktürk to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ahmet Korcan Ramiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tahir İren hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Nafiz Göktürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enes Koçaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umur Peker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Archie Chu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Nasir Özdemir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Nasir Özdemir made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Archie Chu sent off a good shot on target. MALATYASPOR were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after champi0nLi0n's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommy Holm took the corner. 93 minutes into the match, champi0nLi0n's goal looked a bit too open when Archie Chu came free, but Ahmet Nasir Özdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
