In the 29th minute, Zafer Acun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ATLAS FK's Cengiz Baysungur got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kıraç Konguralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengiz Baysungur in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Hugara Mugara Hu getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kuddusî Batıkan hit a great ball. Hugara Mugara Hu's Kıraç Konguralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafer Acun in the 45th minute of play. Zafer Acun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sait Reşat to make the kick off. Kıraç Konguralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengiz Baysungur in the 54th minute of play. When Teoman Kadir fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hugara Mugara Hu's protests and gave Teoman Kadir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hugara Mugara Hu's goalkeeper Kıraç Konguralp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hugara Mugara Hu's zone, Zafer Acun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kıraç Konguralp came out of the goal and Zafer Acun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zafer Acun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zafer Acun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kıraç Konguralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cengiz Baysungur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıraç Konguralp having to interfere. When ATLAS FK's Cengiz Baysungur in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
