Vivaldo Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahap Şahoğlu in the 3rd minute of play forced Tekman's goalkeeper Ertunç Tacik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezen Tolay in the 5th minute of play forced Göztepe SK's goalkeeper Kağan Arabacı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necip Fazıl Tufan got free with Ertunç Tacik in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Azim Cevizci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kağan Arabacı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Göztepe SK's attentive Efekan Çakır managed to snatch the ball when Behram Uzgoren made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezen Tolay in the 19th minute of play forced Göztepe SK's goalkeeper Kağan Arabacı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Azim Cevizci notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Göztepe SK's Kağan Arabacı. Kağan Arabacı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute, Sezen Tolay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tekman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ertunç Tacik was a little too slow when Necip Fazıl Tufan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-3. After 36 played minutes Göztepe SK got a freekick which was hit by Efekan Çakır. In the 40th minute, Azim Cevizci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tekman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Vahap Şahoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tekman's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Necip Fazıl Tufan scored to the left of an out of position Ertunç Tacik, making the score, 2-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Azim Cevizci to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Kağan Arabacı managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Tekman's Azim Cevizci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Göztepe SK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Vahap Şahoğlu hit a great ball. Azim Cevizci in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kağan Arabacı, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The throw-in from Metehan Tur in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Göztepe SK's Reha Tura. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necip Fazıl Tufan in the 63rd minute of play forced Tekman's goalkeeper Ertunç Tacik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arif Buğra Öğün fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göztepe SK's protests and gave Arif Buğra Öğün a yellow card for diving instead. Behram Uzgoren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kağan Arabacı. Göztepe SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Göztepe SK's Kağan Arabacı got control of the ball when Sezen Tolay tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Sezen Tolay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kağan Arabacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Azim Cevizci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vahap Şahoğlu took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ertunç Tacik. Ertunç Tacik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. In the 76thth minute of the game Mustafa Turan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tekman's Ertunç Tacik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ertunç Tacik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahap Şahoğlu in the 77th minute of the match. Vahap Şahoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ertunç Tacik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ertunç Tacik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necip Fazıl Tufan in the 83rd minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Göztepe SK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Buğra Öğün. Kağan Arabacı made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Azim Cevizci sent off a good shot on target. Ertunç Tacik came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Göztepe SK's Vahap Şahoğlu. But to his dismay, Vahap Şahoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. Kağan Arabacı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azim Cevizci in the 96th minute of the match. The Tekman players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
