The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vahap Şahoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Ekrem Refet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Göztepe SK's Kağan Arabacı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekrem Refet in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Göztepe SK's Vahap Şahoğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. When Eminönü's Ekrem Refet in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Göztepe SK's goalie prevented a goal. After 95 played minutes Eminönü got a freekick which was hit by Ilgaz Savlet. Eminönü's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
