Acar Nasrullah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mümin Oba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Serkan Tokcan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Pekin Rasif when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Serkan Tokcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Serkan Tokcan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Karadeniz Arıcan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Ali Behzat Refah tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pekin Rasif saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Acar Nasrullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Behzat Refah in the 32nd minute of play forced Atakent's goalkeeper Pekin Rasif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atakent's Acar Nasrullah got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mümin Oba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acar Nasrullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soma's Mümin Oba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acar Nasrullah in the 44th minute of play. Hulusi Mustafa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mümin Oba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Acar Nasrullah made the kick off in the second half. Behram Esenboğa lost his temper 51 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soma! Ergin Mengüalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pekin Rasif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Barbaros Canbolat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atakent and the Soma players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Soma booed when Atakent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barbaros Canbolat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soma's Muzaffer Okcun got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Serkan Tokcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Acar Nasrullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mümin Oba having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Ergin Mengüalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soma and the Atakent players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yavuz Selimhan Adaş hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Serkan Tokcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pekin Rasif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Acar Nasrullah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
