Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Acar Nasrullah started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Erdinç Uzhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ziya Ülgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Atakent got a freekick which was hit by Erdinç Uzhan. 8 minutes into the game, Rıfkı Nasih lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Pekin Rasif. Pekin Rasif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengizhan Uludağ in the 15th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Atakent got a freekick which was hit by Necmi Ağaverdi. After 21 played minutes Geyikspor got a freekick which was hit by Cengizhan Uludağ. After a rather tough play, Geyikspor's Özer Demirağ got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acar Nasrullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Hulusi Mustafa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acar Nasrullah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Geyikspor booed when Atakent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Namık Huzur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Geyikspor got a freekick which was hit by Özer Demirağ. 42 minutes into the match, Atakent's Acar Nasrullah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Ziya Ülgen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hulusi Mustafa scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Ziya Ülgen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ahmet Ziya Ülgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acar Nasrullah in the 53rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, Atakent's Hulusi Mustafa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Ziya Ülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acar Nasrullah in the 67th minute of play. Hulusi Mustafa scored 1-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Ziya Ülgen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 72 played minutes Atakent got a freekick which was hit by Baha Hinoğlu. A collision led to Atakent getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alpay Demirdelen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karhan Özan in the 75th minute of play forced Atakent's goalkeeper Pekin Rasif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Rıfkı Nasih's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pekin Rasif was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acar Nasrullah in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Hulusi Mustafa made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Ziya Ülgen. Geyikspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 88 minutes into the game, Necmi Ağaverdi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 92 minutes, Berk Hiçsönmez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geyikspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berk Hiçsönmez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geyikspor's Ahmet Ziya Ülgen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Geyikspor from getting a goal against them. Atakent's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
