The TC İSTANBUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Dumitrachescu should have stopped the shot. Tunç Onsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avni Erez having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aytekin Dural during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Aytekin Dural hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, TC İSTANBUL's goal looked a bit too open when Cengizhan Yertan came free, but Mihail Dumitrachescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nihat Toydemir came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the TC İSTANBUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nihat Toydemir couldn't finish the play. Tunç Onsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Dumitrachescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengizhan Yertan in the 36th minute of the match. Tunç Onsal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Avni Erez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, !! FC TÜRKİSTAN !! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayhan Sadik to maneuver through the defense. Ayhan Sadik kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cengizhan Yertan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengizhan Yertan in the 51st minute of play forced TC İSTANBUL's goalkeeper Mihail Dumitrachescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Tunç Onsal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tunç Onsal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Avni Erez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, TC İSTANBUL's Nihat Toydemir tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tunç Onsal struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Avni Erez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TC İSTANBUL. Ayhan Sadik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aycan Levent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihail Dumitrachescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
