Bayındır Münib hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes, 邵帆响 made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. WOLVERHAMPTON's Ahmet Gökalp Özakay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Saip Acartürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihail Dumitrachescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efe Gazir, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, WOLVERHAMPTON's Saip Acartürk got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the game, Mücahit Yağın cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mihail Dumitrachescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, TC İSTANBUL's Mihail Dumitrachescu got control of the ball when Mehdi Yonal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, TC İSTANBUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nihat Toydemir to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Efe Gazir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Gökalp Özakay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邵帆响 in the 37th minute of the match. Nihat Toydemir hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, TC İSTANBUL's goal looked a bit too open when Alpertunga Balcan came free, but Mihail Dumitrachescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 邵帆响 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mihail Dumitrachescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Yonal in the 52nd minute of play. Mihail Dumitrachescu came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by WOLVERHAMPTON's Efe Gazir. But to his dismay, Efe Gazir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efe Gazir in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihail Dumitrachescu saved TC İSTANBUL from getting behind. Efe Gazir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mücahit Yağın in the 65th minute of play forced TC İSTANBUL's goalkeeper Mihail Dumitrachescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alpertunga Balcan scored 3-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihail Dumitrachescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 邵帆响 was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. TC İSTANBUL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 73 minutes into the match, TC İSTANBUL's goal looked a bit too open when Mehdi Yonal came free, but Mihail Dumitrachescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Alpertunga Balcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WOLVERHAMPTON's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alpertunga Balcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mehdi Yonal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efe Gazir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efe Gazir took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihail Dumitrachescu. Mihail Dumitrachescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. TC İSTANBUL's Mihail Dumitrachescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehdi Yonal in the 95th minute of play. WOLVERHAMPTON walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
