Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5676, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 5) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tugay Ilgıt started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Baqsirlar booed when Tokatspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birant Yöntem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Azim Apaydın collided with one of Tokatspor's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. Semih Enfal's late challenge caught a Baqsirlar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Semih Enfal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16thth minute of the game Tugay Ilgıt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baqsirlar's Erdinç Engiay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tugay Ilgıt in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erdinç Engiay saved Baqsirlar from getting behind. After 20 played minutes Tokatspor got a freekick which was hit by Dündar Askeroğlu. If Aybar Borlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arın Refik made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fatih Çimen immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Baqsirlar getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Aybar Borlu hit a great ball. Erdinç Engiay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tugay Ilgıt in the 39th minute of the match. Erdinç Engiay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tugay Ilgıt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baqsirlar's Arın Yaslı got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Erdinç Engiay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Ilgıt in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Tugay Ilgıt put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Erdinç Engiay. When Arın Yaslı came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Baqsirlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arın Yaslı couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Aytaç Yöntem in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Baqsirlar's Şerafettin Oba. If Korkut Tanver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Tugay Ilgıt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tokatspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 70 minutes, Arın Yaslı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baqsirlar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arın Yaslı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Arın Yaslı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akif Özsahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erdinç Engiay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tugay Ilgıt in the 80th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Baqsirlar's Aybar Borlu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Akif Özsahin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Akif Özsahin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Yaslı in the 92nd minute of play. Korkut Tanver took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erdinç Engiay. Erdinç Engiay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tokatspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Baqsirlar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
