In the 11th minute, Vatan Nafiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolga Togay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marvin Smith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gani Pektürk in the 22nd minute of the match. Bozkurt's Marvin Smith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gani Pektürk in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Gani Pektürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batuhan Uçbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Marvin Smith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 43rd minute, Vatan Nafiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Boran Sinan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vatan Nafiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hıdır Altıparmak during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Bozkurt got a freekick which was hit by Hıdır Altıparmak. Batuhan Uçbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Smith having to interfere. If Gani Pektürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onur Toydemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Aytunç Tanberk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY and the Bozkurt players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded GALATASARAY left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bozkurt.
