Cheb Hindi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Boran Sinan having to interfere. Ahmet Boran Sinan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Hindi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gelendost's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Gani Pektürk scored to the left of an out of position Nuratay Sungurtekin, making the score, 1-0. GALATASARAY's Ahmet Boran Sinan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Larbi in the 18th minute of play. When Alptuğ Bilgetay fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Alptuğ Bilgetay a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Alptuğ Bilgetay got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheb Hindi in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Boran Sinan saved GALATASARAY from getting behind. Şinasi Şafak hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gelendost defense, Batuhan Uçbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuratay Sungurtekin. The Gelendost fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuratay Sungurtekin should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Cheb Hindi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Boran Sinan came out of the goal and Cheb Hindi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Hindi in the 40th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Ahmet Boran Sinan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sertaç Demiroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. With his leg Nuratay Sungurtekin managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when GALATASARAY's Gani Pektürk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Gani Pektürk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuratay Sungurtekin. That made the score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cheb Hindi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gelendost's goalkeeper Nuratay Sungurtekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gelendost's Bora Han Usbay got a free kick in the 58th minute. Nuratay Sungurtekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batuhan Uçbay in the 59th minute of the match. Ismael Larbi struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ahmet Boran Sinan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gelendost. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sertaç Demiroğlu during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sertaç Demiroğlu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Batuhan Uçbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Batuhan Uçbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GALATASARAY's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
