After 2 played minutes Ekmek spor got a freekick which was hit by Fırat Rahmet. In the 4th minute of the match, İsmail Hakkı Baykal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan-Maria Pfaff saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Ekmek spor's zone, Necdet Danış stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Maria Pfaff came out of the goal and Necdet Danış tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, İsmail Hakkı Baykal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, İsmail Hakkı Baykal made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Maria Pfaff. Ekmek spor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Result 3-1. 33 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İsmail Hakkı Baykal in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Maria Pfaff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RSM FC's Ferman Tekay got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Maria Pfaff made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Numan Öztarhan sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, İsmail Hakkı Baykal notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ekmek spor's Jan-Maria Pfaff. Jan-Maria Pfaff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Hurşit Suer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 92 minutes into the match, Ekmek spor's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Hakkı Baykal came free, but Jan-Maria Pfaff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes RSM FC got a freekick which was hit by Fikret Urza. Hurşit Suer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mücahit Afgan. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RSM FC had won after a very even match.
