Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Gönen FK's Ferit Ongar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Uğuralp Ünsan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ziemowit Kaczanek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. İlhami Hastimur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. From close distance Ferit Ongar pressed in the 1-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 23 minutes into the game. When Aykut Turgut fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ReyhanlıSpor's protests and gave Aykut Turgut a yellow card for diving instead. Aykut Turgut hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes of play, Gönen FK's Ferit Ongar made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alparslan Yağınalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, İlhami Hastimur fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alparslan Yağınalp, passed just outside the right post. In the 40th minute, Ferit Ongar made a precise shot to the right of Alparslan Yağınalp. ReyhanlıSpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Gönen FK's İlhami Hastimur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alparslan Yağınalp. That made the score 5-1 after 47 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uğuralp Ünsan was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Gönen FK got a freekick which was hit by Derya Akgüngör. After a defensive mix-up in Gönen FK's zone, Ünal Tapgaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziemowit Kaczanek came out of the goal and Ünal Tapgaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alparslan Yağınalp didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gönen FK's Ferit Ongar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 66 minutes into the match, ReyhanlıSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Berkant Togay came free, but Alparslan Yağınalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alparslan Yağınalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferit Ongar's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. İlhami Hastimur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alparslan Yağınalp having to interfere. Ziemowit Kaczanek was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 92 minutes ReyhanlıSpor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peli Ascargorta who took care of the corner kick. When the referee ended the match the Gönen FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
