Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) ANADOLU GENÇLİĞİ's Utkan Oğuzata started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Veli Cihannur's late challenge caught a Mecitözü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veli Cihannur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Veli Cihannur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Utkan Oğuzata in the 12th minute of play forced Mecitözü's goalkeeper Deniz Akçasu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Ali Kağan Canatan made a precise shot to the right of Deniz Akçasu. Mecitözü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Utkan Oğuzata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Deniz Akçasu. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. Utkan Oğuzata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Deniz Akçasu having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Mecitözü's goalkeeper Deniz Akçasu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Kağan Canatan. After a defensive mix-up in ANADOLU GENÇLİĞİ's zone, Rahim Özakın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Cahit İlter came out of the goal and Rahim Özakın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mecitözü getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ahmet Asım Onkal hit a great ball. Utkan Oğuzata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Deniz Akçasu having to make a save. A collision led to Mecitözü getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tolga Erol hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ANADOLU GENÇLİĞİ's Yakut Titiz got a free kick in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rahim Özakın in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hüseyin Cahit İlter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Asım Onkal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Cahit İlter having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Asım Onkal to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ali Kağan Canatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Kağan Canatan in the 56th minute of play forced Mecitözü's goalkeeper Deniz Akçasu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rahim Özakın got free with Hüseyin Cahit İlter in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rahim Özakın who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Hüseyin Cahit İlter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Halil Can Ergunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Akçasu having to interfere. When Ali Kağan Canatan came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ANADOLU GENÇLİĞİ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Kağan Canatan couldn't finish the play. Rahim Özakın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hüseyin Cahit İlter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Mecitözü's Rahim Özakın dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Ali Kağan Canatan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 88 minutes of play, ANADOLU GENÇLİĞİ's Utkan Oğuzata made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deniz Akçasu was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ANADOLU GENÇLİĞİ fully deserved thier win.
