In the 5th minute, Vefa Sakman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orçun Çetintürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dilaver Adıgüzel in the 6th minute of play. Nurtekin Direm hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Dilaver Adıgüzel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orçun Çetintürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Tavşantepe izmit SK's Ahmet Gökalp Belge got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Dilaver Adıgüzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orçun Çetintürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes in the game Şimşek Bucuk did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abidin Topçay. After 19 minutes, Dilaver Adıgüzel made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Fenerbahçe SK's Orçun Çetintürk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sarper Özerhan fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 25thth minute of the game Dilaver Adıgüzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe SK's Orçun Çetintürk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Tavşantepe izmit SK's Dilaver Adıgüzel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of Tavşantepe izmit SK booed when Fenerbahçe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarper Özerhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tavşantepe izmit SK's Cevahir Seyfullah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abidin Topçay in the 80th minute of play. Octav Marghescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevahir Seyfullah having to interfere. Orçun Çetintürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilaver Adıgüzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Mustafa Ekrem Tankoç kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tavşantepe izmit SK played a much better game than Fenerbahçe SK and deserved their victory. The Fenerbahçe SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
