Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cecep Dewa started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Harbiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yahya Kemal Torcan to maneuver through the defense. Denizlispor's İlhami Kamuran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsmail Hakkı Taki in the 7th minute of play. Gürhan Çoğun kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecep Dewa in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İlhami Kamuran saved Denizlispor from getting behind. Behzat İlighan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Harbiye's goal looked a bit too open when Cengizhan Suavi came free, but Behzat İlighan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdullatif Taybars's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Behzat İlighan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Behzat İlighan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengizhan Suavi in the 18th minute of play. The Harbiye fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Harbiye's Cecep Dewa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reşat Berksoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İlhami Kamuran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reşat Berksoy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Denizlispor's Berker Dürüst ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Behzat İlighan. Behzat İlighan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Abdullatif Taybars charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdullatif Taybars the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Denizlispor got a freekick which was hit by Abdullatif Taybars. Cengizhan Suavi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Behzat İlighan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Denizlispor booed when Harbiye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhsin Akhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Harbiye got a freekick which was hit by Cecep Dewa. Cengizhan Suavi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Behzat İlighan having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdullatif Taybars got free with Behzat İlighan in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Berker Dürüst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denizlispor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cengizhan Suavi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Denizlispor's Fikri Eymen made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Behzat İlighan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdullatif Taybars took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Behzat İlighan. Behzat İlighan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Behzat İlighan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cengizhan Suavi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Abdullatif Taybars left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denizlispor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Behzat İlighan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Dürüst, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Behzat İlighan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fikri Eymen in the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Harbiye defense, Berker Dürüst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Behzat İlighan. The Harbiye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Behzat İlighan should have stopped the shot. Behzat İlighan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengizhan Suavi in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Abdullatif Taybars made a precise shot to the right of Behzat İlighan. Harbiye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. In the 90th minute Abdullatif Taybars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behzat İlighan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Abdullatif Taybars made a precise shot to the right of Behzat İlighan. Harbiye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. There was no doubt that Denizlispor were the better team. Denizlispor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
