Göktürk Umuralp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turkish Academy. Behzat Birdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Umuralp having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sahrayicedit's zone, Ahmet İlke Orkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göktürk Umuralp came out of the goal and Ahmet İlke Orkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 minutes of play, Turkish Academy's Ilgaz İslam made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Göktürk Umuralp was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Turkish Academy booed when Sahrayicedit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlbey Masuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ahmet İlke Orkan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Turkish Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet İlke Orkan couldn't finish the play. Atilla Tarkan Doğanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Tuna Kamil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Sahrayicedit's goal looked a bit too open when Ilgaz İslam came free, but Göktürk Umuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Turkish Academy's corner Ahmet Kağan Hoyrat fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Göktürk Umuralp quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute Ahmet İlke Orkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktürk Umuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilgaz İslam in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göktürk Umuralp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Göktürk Umuralp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilgaz İslam's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Turkish Academy's Halim Onatsu got a free kick in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Turkish Academy's Ilgaz İslam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göktürk Umuralp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Sahrayicedit's goalkeeper Göktürk Umuralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilgaz İslam. Atilla Tarkan Doğanay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alp Kırdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Turkish Academy's zone, Atak Akbaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuna Kamil came out of the goal and Atak Akbaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Kağan Hoyrat hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 68thth minute of the game Ilgaz İslam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sahrayicedit's Göktürk Umuralp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilgaz İslam in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göktürk Umuralp saved Sahrayicedit from getting behind. Atilla Tarkan Doğanay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuna Kamil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Recep Tayyip Suhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Ilgaz İslam made a precise shot to the right of Göktürk Umuralp. Sahrayicedit's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 84 minutes into the match, Sahrayicedit's goal looked a bit too open when Ilgaz İslam came free, but Göktürk Umuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ilgaz İslam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göktürk Umuralp was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Atilla Tarkan Doğanay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tuna Kamil made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Ali Kağan Oğuzbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turkish Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sahrayicedit the free kick. A collision led to Turkish Academy getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ali Kağan Oğuzbay hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Turkish Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Vural Özkul came free, but Tuna Kamil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İlbey Masuk kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Ilgaz İslam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turkish Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Turkish Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
