Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Björkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güney Gümüşsoy in the 9th minute of the match. Güney Gümüşsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Björkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Columbo Tormes scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yusuf Ziya Paye, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Columbo Tormes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Columbo Tormes during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TABİPLER BİRLİĞİ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jonathan Björkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güney Gümüşsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Columbo Tormes to make the kick off. Yusuf Ziya Paye didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bülent Balabey went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Columbo Tormes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TABİPLER BİRLİĞİ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 68 played minutes TABİPLER BİRLİĞİ got a freekick which was hit by Ergün Şam. Columbo Tormes took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yusuf Ziya Paye. Yusuf Ziya Paye dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Columbo Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ergün Şam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Columbo Tormes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yusuf Ziya Paye. Cibali's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Columbo Tormes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Güney Gümüşsoy had several of the TABİPLER BİRLİĞİ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-1 score and a disappointed Jonathan Björkman as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 94 played minutes TABİPLER BİRLİĞİ got a freekick which was hit by Bülent Balabey. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind TABİPLER BİRLİĞİ's goalkeeper Jonathan Björkman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TABİPLER BİRLİĞİ had played much better football throughout.
