Cengizhan Suavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sahrayicedit's Vural Özkul got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göktürk Umuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cengizhan Suavi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Denizlispor's Cengizhan Suavi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Göktürk Umuralp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vural Özkul in the 24th minute of play forced Denizlispor's goalkeeper İlhami Kamuran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Alp Kırdar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sahrayicedit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denizlispor the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sahrayicedit's Alp Kırdar got a free kick in the 27th minute. Cengizhan Suavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Umuralp having to interfere. Sahrayicedit's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Cengizhan Suavi scored to the left of an out of position Göktürk Umuralp, making the score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cengizhan Suavi to make the kick off. İlhami Kamuran made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Atilla Tarkan Doğanay sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute Vural Özkul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlhami Kamuran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berker Dürüst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Umuralp having to interfere. Abdullatif Taybars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Umuralp having to interfere. Vural Özkul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Kamuran having to interfere. If Atilla Tarkan Doğanay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play Sahrayicedit's Alp Kırdar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 82 played minutes Sahrayicedit got a freekick which was hit by Alp Kırdar. In the 83rd minute, Güvenç Geylanoğlu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sahrayicedit's Göktürk Umuralp didn't even have to move. Abdullatif Taybars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Umuralp having to interfere. A collision led to Sahrayicedit getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vural Özkul hit a great ball. Göktürk Umuralp came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Denizlispor's Cengizhan Suavi. But to his dismay, Cengizhan Suavi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Abdullatif Taybars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sahrayicedit players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Denizlispor.
