Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Development FC's Şahap Bağcıoğlu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Bedri Hanbeyi struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Baycan Ocakoğlu with Metehan Akbudun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Şahap Bağcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şahap Bağcıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahri İzci having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Development FC's Ahmet Bedri Hanbeyi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Bahadırhan Bilge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cahit Şimşek skillfully saved the ball. Cahit Şimşek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Selim Özerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Cahit Şimşek came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by GÖZTEPE's Hayrettin Özaltuğ. But to his dismay, Hayrettin Özaltuğ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 30th minute, Şahap Bağcıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GÖZTEPE's Fahri İzci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save GÖZTEPE from getting a goal against them. Çağrı Başer's late challenge caught a GÖZTEPE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çağrı Başer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Development FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağrı Başer to maneuver through the defense. Abbas Acartürk hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yavuz Selim Özerman got free with Cahit Şimşek in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şahap Bağcıoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fahri İzci having to make a save. Fahri İzci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şahap Bağcıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Development FC's Cahit Şimşek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Özaltuğ in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th minute, GÖZTEPE's Hayrettin Özaltuğ dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Yavuz Selim Özerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cahit Şimşek made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Yavuz Selim Özerman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cahit Şimşek. Development FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yavuz Selim Özerman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Şahap Bağcıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 75 minutes, Metehan Akbudun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GÖZTEPE and the Development FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, GÖZTEPE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metehan Akbudun to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Development FC's goalkeeper Cahit Şimşek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metehan Akbudun. Yavuz Selim Özerman came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cahit Şimşek could save by the left post. The referee gave Development FC a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Şahap Bağcıoğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GÖZTEPE's Fahri İzci. 2-4. Çağrı Başer kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Hayrettin Özaltuğ notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Development FC's Cahit Şimşek. Cahit Şimşek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 97 played minutes GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Metehan Akbudun. In the 98th match minute, GÖZTEPE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metehan Akbudun to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GÖZTEPE eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
