Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) ATALANSPOR's Kutalp Tülün started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Serbülent Delfin came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the ATALANSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serbülent Delfin couldn't finish the play. Varol Beyhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mehmet Edip Bilgiç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kutalp Tülün who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Tunç Sahat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Bafra getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mehmet Anıl Uskan hit a great ball. Timur Hazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bafra's Hamit Ayçetin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kutalp Tülün in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tunç Sahat saved Bafra from getting behind. Mehmet Edip Bilgiç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basri Cezlan in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ATALANSPOR's Rafettin Toper got a free kick in the 37th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Eyüp Tümenbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bafra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eyüp Tümenbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Bafra's Hamit Ayçetin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Edip Bilgiç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Basri Cezlan made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kutalp Tülün in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tunç Sahat saved Bafra from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Bafra's Hamit Ayçetin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Edip Bilgiç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mehmet Edip Bilgiç came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Bafra's Hamit Ayçetin. But to his dismay, Hamit Ayçetin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Tunç Sahat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Arif Uçur in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of ATALANSPOR booed when Bafra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Anıl Uskan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bafra getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eyüp Tümenbay hit a great ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Kutalp Tülün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATALANSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kutalp Tülün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute of the match Halil Can Tandan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tunç Sahat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Kutalp Tülün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATALANSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kutalp Tülün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serbülent Delfin struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tunç Sahat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATALANSPOR. After 79 minutes, Serbülent Delfin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATALANSPOR and the Bafra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, ATALANSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serbülent Delfin to maneuver through the defense. When Serbülent Delfin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 82 played minutes ATALANSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Serbülent Delfin. Mehmet Edip Bilgiç was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eyüp Tümenbay. In the 86th minute, Hamit Ayçetin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmet Edip Bilgiç. The goal made the score 1-5. A collision led to Bafra getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Varol Beyhan hit a great ball. Mehmet Edip Bilgiç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genco Akkurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Tunç Sahat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Hazar in the 94th minute of play. Mehmet Anıl Uskan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Chants of Bafra echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ATALANSPOR had held the ball for most of the match.
