An unexpectedly hard shot by Necmettin Turkay in the 4th minute of play forced FC Göktürk's goalkeeper Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience cheered loudly when Haldun Zoral's long shot in the 9th minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Aytekin Çağman. Akın Mert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Necmettin Turkay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Göktürk booed when Findikzade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birant İsfendiyar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Findikzade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 43 minutes into the match, FC Göktürk's goal looked a bit too open when Birant İsfendiyar came free, but Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necmettin Turkay in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Rıfkı İrfanoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu. FC Göktürk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After the first half Findikzade were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haldun Zoral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Necmettin Turkay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. After a rather tough play, FC Göktürk's Ahmet Ozan Timuroz got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Necmettin Turkay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu, 1-7. FC Göktürk's Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save FC Göktürk from getting a goal against them. Findikzade's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
