In the 25th minute, Mustafa Hamit Temizkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mustafa Ekrem Polathan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reis Nezir having to interfere. Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hamit Temizkan in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Hurşit Ekşioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kahraman Malik went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Hamit Temizkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arcan Sahat's late challenge caught a Cihanbeyli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arcan Sahat helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Göktürk getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Arcan Sahat hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Cankut Göktepe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu skillfully saved the ball. Cihanbeyli's Reis Nezir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kartal Mertoğul in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

With 56 minutes on the clock, Selmi Timurkan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Cihanbeyli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Göktürk:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Oğuz Torlak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cihanbeyli's supporters rose to their feet, but Oğuz Torlak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Cihanbeyli's Oğuz Torlak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 62 played minutes FC Göktürk got a freekick which was hit by Ali Korkutalp. Oğuz Torlak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sufi Düden kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Kahraman Malik hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Oğuz Torlak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the game, Ali Korkutalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Göktürk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cihanbeyli the free kick. A collision led to FC Göktürk getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ali Korkutalp hit a great ball. Oğuz Torlak struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ali Behzat Temizkanoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cihanbeyli. The Cihanbeyli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cihanbeyli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
