Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Ali Faruk Sözen came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the HAYAL SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Faruk Sözen couldn't finish the play. In the 5th match minute, HAYAL SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serdar Acun to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ali Faruk Sözen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şener Dağtekin was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, HAYAL SK's Berkant Baştuğ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şener Dağtekin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Ali Faruk Sözen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HAYAL SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, HAYAL SK's Kartal Payidar got control of the ball when Necati Erakalın tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ali Faruk Sözen fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HAYAL SK's protests and gave Ali Faruk Sözen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to HAYAL SK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ömer Rıza Uçkun hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes, HAYAL SK's Fahrettin Şanberk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Şener Dağtekin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HAYAL SK reached it. Ali Faruk Sözen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şener Dağtekin having to interfere. Yildirim's Birsel Boran got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Yildirim booed when HAYAL SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hatemi Azim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Yildirim's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Uçkun came free, but Şener Dağtekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Ali Faruk Sözen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Faruk Sözen to strike the kick off in the second half. Şener Dağtekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Faruk Sözen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tekin Topdemir made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Birsel Boran immediately put the ball in play. 70 minutes into the match, HAYAL SK's goal looked a bit too open when Birsel Boran came free, but Kartal Payidar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Yildirim's zone, Ali Faruk Sözen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şener Dağtekin came out of the goal and Ali Faruk Sözen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute of the game, Rahim Mazlum landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vatan Özgiray during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. HAYAL SK made a substitution. Ahmet Baki Nejat replaced Rahim Mazlum. After 79 played minutes Yildirim got a freekick which was hit by Vatan Özgiray. In the 85th minute, Göktürk Kuthan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Yildirim's goalkeeper Şener Dağtekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Faruk Sözen. Kartal Payidar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birsel Boran, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. HAYAL SK's Serdar Acun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Avni Baysoy, made in the 93rd minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Ali Faruk Sözen made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Yildirim's Şener Dağtekin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. HAYAL SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
