Spectators: 6150 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hayati Denizalp kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulusi Tümenbay in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halit Ziya Tuğkun saved Ilgin from getting behind. In the 5th minute, Muzaffer Şengil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Hulusi Tümenbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Ziya Tuğkun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gencal Kutlu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Halit Ziya Tuğkun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cankurtaran FK. Hulusi Tümenbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halit Ziya Tuğkun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencal Kutlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çelik Derman got free with Sakut Bayındır in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 played minutes Cankurtaran FK got a freekick which was hit by Sümer Ruhittin. Cankurtaran FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hayati Denizalp 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Gencal Kutlu came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Cankurtaran FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencal Kutlu couldn't finish the play. Ilgin's Halit Ziya Tuğkun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sümer Ruhittin in the 39th minute of play. Gencal Kutlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Ziya Tuğkun having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayati Denizalp in the 47th minute of play forced Cankurtaran FK's goalkeeper Sakut Bayındır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hulusi Tümenbay made a kick off. Sakut Bayındır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çelik Derman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to Cankurtaran FK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hayri Çiftçi hit a great ball. Oğuzkan Enginer kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Gencal Kutlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Hulusi Tümenbay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Halit Ziya Tuğkun. The goal made the score 2-2. After 75 minutes, Fikri Ortanca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilgin and the Cankurtaran FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Ilgin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fikri Ortanca to maneuver through the defense. Çelik Derman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hayati Denizalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Hayati Denizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakut Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tolga Yalım during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cankurtaran FK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tolga Yalım hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Hulusi Tümenbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cankurtaran FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hulusi Tümenbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halit Ziya Tuğkun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hayati Denizalp charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hayati Denizalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ilgin's Hayati Denizalp got a free kick in the 95th minute.
