Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Korkutalp Barçın made the kick off and thus started the match. After 29 played minutes Sarigöl got a freekick which was hit by Gürkan Tankoç. After having played for 31 minutes, Gürkan Tankoç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarigöl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gürkan Tankoç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Üzeyir Karadeniz fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Athletic Mecidiye SK's protests and gave Üzeyir Karadeniz a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Athletic Mecidiye SK got a freekick which was hit by Üzeyir Karadeniz. Athletic Mecidiye SK were furious when Gürcan Kutuner was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Athletic Mecidiye SK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gürcan Kutuner hit a great ball. After 44 minutes of play, Sarigöl's Korkutalp Barçın made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sedat Şölen was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Korkutalp Barçın in the 48th minute of play forced Athletic Mecidiye SK's goalkeeper Sedat Şölen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Başaran Ceviz made the kick off in the second half. Başaran Ceviz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Başaran Ceviz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Mahsun Ciner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fatih Güdü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mahsun Ciner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Athletic Mecidiye SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sarigöl throughout the match.
