The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ekber Tayguner during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ekber Tayguner hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Celal Ortan fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Celal Ortan a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mümtazer Okan during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mümtazer Okan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Duman Baysal struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Karahan Midilli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zara. GALATASARAY's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
