Findikli's attentive Kubat Seciye managed to snatch the ball when Münir Uzer made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Arda Ozan Bal helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes, Afyon's Reha Öner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taci Onursev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Afyon reached it. After a rather tough play, Afyon's Arif Bilge Denizhan got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Afyon were the better team. Afyon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
