Ahmet Ege Toydeniz's late challenge caught a Ivrindi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Ege Toydeniz helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Ege Toydeniz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ceyhun Akbatur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Yağız in the 17th minute of play. Ivrindi's Raşit Güdü pulled a muscle in his back after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 18 minutes, Kerem Eroğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaptan Tsubasa FC and the Ivrindi players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökay Eralkan couldn't finish the play. If Bektaş Veli Tamerkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ceyhun Akbatur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdulaziz Sunay's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Kaptan Tsubasa FC booed when Ivrindi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulaziz Sunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bektaş Veli Tamerkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faik Server having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulaziz Sunay was the one to do the kick off.
