An unexpectedly hard shot by Ensar İslamoğlu in the 26th minute of play forced Özvatan's goalkeeper Suphi Demircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özvatan's Suphi Demircan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thijs Pardaens in the 34th minute of play. Suphi Demircan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Özvatan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Beşiktaşkkkk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
