But to his dismay, Caner Karaalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Utku Dokuzoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aycan İnan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 26th minute Ayvaz Şenaltan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aycan İnan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Kutlay Kuter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpspor and the MALTEPE UTD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Asrın Şenalp made a precise shot to the right of Aycan İnan. MALTEPE UTD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Alkın İnanç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MALTEPE UTD's Aydın Özselen got a free kick in the 97th minute. Alpspor were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over MALTEPE UTD's much stronger midfield.
