The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atacan Tankoç helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pehlivanköy's Atacan Tankoç got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 7th minute Özgür Ökmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin İklim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Pehlivanköy's Özgür Ökmen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Necaettin İklim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Pehlivanköy's goal looked a bit too open when Hasret Korhan came free, but Taner Hisarcık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taner Hisarcık took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasret Korhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Müjdat Hakyemez hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Necaettin İklim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Resul Tonguç in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Pehlivanköy getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Atacan Tankoç hit a great ball. Önder Taylan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taner Hisarcık made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ozan Bakırcı sent off a good shot on target. Taner Hisarcık stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasret Korhan's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The supporters of Pehlivanköy booed when HEROES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mithat Vefi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özgür Ökmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Pehlivanköy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ozan Bakırcı scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Taner Hisarcık, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasret Korhan in the 55th minute of play forced Pehlivanköy's goalkeeper Taner Hisarcık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes, Gökhun Altın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HEROES and the Pehlivanköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to HEROES getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gökhun Altın hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ozan Bakırcı notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pehlivanköy's Taner Hisarcık. Taner Hisarcık was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pehlivanköy's Yavuzalp Ömürcan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Birkan Bilgen, made in the 67th minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, HEROES's goalkeeper Necaettin İklim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Özgür Ökmen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Bakırcı in the 80th minute of play forced Pehlivanköy's goalkeeper Taner Hisarcık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Ökmen got free with Necaettin İklim in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes, HEROES's Öztürk Şeref shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taner Hisarcık came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HEROES reached it. If Özgür Ökmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes, HEROES's Affan Hızır shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taner Hisarcık came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HEROES reached it. The Pehlivanköy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pehlivanköy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
