In the 21st match minute, Futbol Akademisi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Cengiz Özkutsal to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Skyfall's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulmelik Tolun came free, but Selçuk Tanfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şafak Nusret's late challenge caught a Futbol Akademisi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şafak Nusret helped the player get up and apologised. Selçuk Tanfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulmelik Tolun, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.
