PoYRaZ's Birk Leonhardsen got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loui Bastner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gafur Nihat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Xurde Ruiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüstem Katib was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Kocaköy FK's goalkeeper Rüstem Katib had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xurde Ruiz. In the 22nd minute Birk Leonhardsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüstem Katib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rüstem Katib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Ethem Tevfik in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Birk Leonhardsen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rüstem Katib. Birk Leonhardsen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Rüstem Katib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birk Leonhardsen in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Humberto Bizi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüstem Katib was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 48 minutes into the game, Xurde Ruiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Rüstem Katib was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Kocaköy FK's Rüstem Katib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Ozan Irgatbaşı in the 53rd minute of play. Kocaköy FK's Ali Haydar Samih managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Doğan User in the 55 minute of the game. After having played for 57 minutes, Birk Leonhardsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PoYRaZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birk Leonhardsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurde Ruiz in the 60th minute of play forced Kocaköy FK's goalkeeper Rüstem Katib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaköy FK's zone, Xurde Ruiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüstem Katib came out of the goal and Xurde Ruiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Aytunç Toycan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüstem Katib. Kocaköy FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aytunç Toycan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Arif Ozan Irgatbaşı charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Ozan Irgatbaşı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Humberto Bizi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurde Ruiz in the 78th minute of play forced Kocaköy FK's goalkeeper Rüstem Katib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Kocaköy FK's goal looked a bit too open when Xurde Ruiz came free, but Rüstem Katib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yüce Nesip's late challenge caught a Kocaköy FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yüce Nesip helped the player get up and apologised. PoYRaZ's Aytunç Toycan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Xurde Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. PoYRaZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Xurde Ruiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüstem Katib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
