In the 5th minute, one of GALATASARAY:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GALATASARAY. Sezgin Cihansah had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Alpay Mehmet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Alpay Mehmet notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GALATASARAY's Sezgin Cihansah. Sezgin Cihansah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Evren Adsoy hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gazanfer Özcan Satır during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gazanfer Özcan Satır hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Aşır Özerdim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezgin Cihansah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hürkan Zikri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evren Adsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Hendek's Aşır Özerdim got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aşır Özerdim got free with Sezgin Cihansah in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the game, Erenay Sanak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Aşır Özerdim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sezgin Cihansah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GALATASARAY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hendek for a fine match.
