Spectators: 7539 (Terracing: 5720, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 66) Kestel Spor's Bilge Baykal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Başar Perker lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Yavuz Selim Kıncal. Bilge Baykal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selim Kıncal having to interfere. Başar Perker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yavuz Selim Kıncal having to make a save. The supporters of Kestel Spor booed when Yatagan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilgaz Özdamar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raşit Sezgen charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raşit Sezgen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Kestel Spor got a freekick which was hit by Raşit Sezgen. After a defensive mix-up in Yatagan FK's zone, Başar Perker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuz Selim Kıncal came out of the goal and Başar Perker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Başar Perker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yatagan FK's Yavuz Selim Kıncal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kestel Spor's Marcelino Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulbaki Korur in the 25th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Yatagan FK got a freekick which was hit by Mahir Buyrukalp. With a little luck, Yatagan FK's Yavuz Selim Kıncal got control of the ball when Bilge Baykal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute Abdulbaki Korur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Başar Perker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yavuz Selim Kıncal came out and tried to block the shot, but Başar Perker slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Berat Tümen made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Zeynel Akbel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yatagan FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kestel Spor the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Zeynel Akbel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kestel Spor's Bilge Baykal in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yatagan FK's goalie prevented a goal. During the 58th minute of the match Zeynel Akbel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zeynel Akbel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 59 played minutes Yatagan FK got a freekick which was hit by Zeynel Akbel. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yatagan FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Kestel Spor. Sefa Tayman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yavuz Selim Kıncal. 5-1. Yavuz Selim Kıncal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilge Baykal, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A hard shot 70 in the game by Abdulbaki Korur from a close distance when the talented Marcelino Merexildo managed to make a qualified save. Kestel Spor's players were relieved. 73 minutes into the match, Bilge Baykal notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Yatagan FK's Yavuz Selim Kıncal. Yavuz Selim Kıncal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Kestel Spor booed when Yatagan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahir Buyrukalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Yatagan FK defense, Başar Perker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yavuz Selim Kıncal. The Yatagan FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yavuz Selim Kıncal should have stopped the shot. Mahir Buyrukalp hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Bilge Baykal might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yavuz Selim Kıncal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bilge Baykal ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Yatagan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Baykal came free, but Yavuz Selim Kıncal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yavuz Selim Kıncal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Başar Perker's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Başar Perker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yavuz Selim Kıncal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Yatagan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berat Tümen to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Bilge Baykal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Başar Perker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kestel Spor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yatagan FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
