That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Santos got free with Hayrullah İsmihan in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgilio Santos in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hayrullah İsmihan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 15 in the game by Virgilio Santos from a close distance when the talented Hayrullah İsmihan managed to make a qualified save. Cankurtaran JK's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gencay Tahir during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Marciano Padro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hayrullah İsmihan was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cankurtaran JK's zone, Jeremias Azubeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayrullah İsmihan came out of the goal and Jeremias Azubeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Duran Baytugay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Cankurtaran JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencay Tahir to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Marciano Padro put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hayrullah İsmihan. Tolunay Ahsen took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Urbasa. Zeledon Urbasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferhat Eldemir to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, İbrahim Efe Nazif cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Hayrullah İsmihan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the game, Başoğlu's Marciano Padro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hayrullah İsmihan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. In the 58th minute, Marciano Padro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Başoğlu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. 69 minutes into the match, Cankurtaran JK's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Santos came free, but Hayrullah İsmihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Cankurtaran JK got a freekick which was hit by Tolunay Ahsen. If Virgilio Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Cankurtaran JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferhat Eldemir to maneuver through the defense. Hayrullah İsmihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Santos in the 79th minute of play. Tolunay Ahsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Urbasa having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Tolunay Ahsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cankurtaran JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Başoğlu the free kick. Tolunay Ahsen hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Adnan Ünlüsoy made a precise shot to the right of Hayrullah İsmihan. Cankurtaran JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adnan Ünlüsoy in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hayrullah İsmihan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Başoğlu were the better team. Başoğlu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
