Beşiktaş Edirne's Seyfi Özaltan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Başar Perker in the 13th minute of play. Bilge Baykal scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Seyfi Özaltan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bilge Baykal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seyfi Özaltan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Bilge Baykal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beşiktaş Edirne's Seyfi Özaltan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bilge Baykal got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 79th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. After a defensive mix-up in Pangalti's zone, Fikret Suerdem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Merexildo came out of the goal and Fikret Suerdem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raşit Sezgen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Seyfi Özaltan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bilge Baykal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Seyfi Özaltan made a huge save. Seyfi Özaltan came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Pangalti's Raşit Sezgen. But to his dismay, Raşit Sezgen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 97th minute, Bilge Baykal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Seyfi Özaltan. The goal made the score 1-8. Pangalti played a much better game than Beşiktaş Edirne and deserved their victory. The Beşiktaş Edirne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
