Marcelino Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Yıldırım Alp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pangalti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Başoğlu the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Padro in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Merexildo saved Pangalti from getting behind. Başar Perker hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Bilge Baykal kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Sefa Tayman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeledon Urbasa. Başoğlu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Başoğlu's Virgilio Santos in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pangalti's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Santos in the 18th minute of play forced Pangalti's goalkeeper Marcelino Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Başar Perker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Başoğlu's Zeledon Urbasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeledon Urbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bilge Baykal in the 21st minute. When Virgilio Santos came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Başoğlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Santos couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Azubeli's late challenge caught a Pangalti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Azubeli helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Başoğlu getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jeremias Azubeli hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Santos in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Merexildo saved Pangalti from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilge Baykal during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pangalti's Bilge Baykal got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Marciano Padro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Merexildo was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Padro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Santos in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Namık Üstay's late challenge caught a Başoğlu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Namık Üstay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Pangalti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Namık Üstay to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Santos got free with Marcelino Merexildo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Jeremias Azubeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Başoğlu's goal looked a bit too open when Başar Perker came free, but Zeledon Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Başoğlu's Marcel Warner got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Başoğlu's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Baykal came free, but Zeledon Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Pangalti's goalkeeper Marcelino Merexildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Santos. After some careless play in the Başoğlu defense, Bilge Baykal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Urbasa. The Başoğlu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Urbasa should have stopped the shot. Mustafa Namık Üstay was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd minute, Mustafa Namık Üstay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Adnan Ünlüsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Azubeli hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Virgilio Santos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelino Merexildo firmly grabbed it by the left post. A nice corner shot did that İsmail Yazıcı got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelino Merexildo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 99 minutes into the game İsmail Yazıcı kicked a great long shot which passed Marcelino Merexildo straight ahead into the goal, Result 4-1. One couldn't see İsmail Yazıcı behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Pangalti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
