Hatayspor's Ercüment Öztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhat Eldemir in the 12th minute of play. Hayrullah İsmihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şerif Perver in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Hatayspor booed when Cankurtaran JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencay Tahir didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Cankurtaran JK defense, Serhat Yenisey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hayrullah İsmihan. The Cankurtaran JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hayrullah İsmihan should have stopped the shot. After 37 minutes of play, Hatayspor's Ekber Öznur made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hayrullah İsmihan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Rahman Aktay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Tolunay Ahsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cankurtaran JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolunay Ahsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ferhat Eldemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cankurtaran JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hatayspor were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serhat Yenisey made a kick off. Tolunay Ahsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercüment Öztan having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play, Cankurtaran JK's Tolunay Ahsen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ercüment Öztan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Şerif Perver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hayrullah İsmihan having to make a save. 68 minutes into the game, Serhat Yenisey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hayrullah İsmihan. Serhat Yenisey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 70th minute, Rahman Aktay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, Cankurtaran JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet İlhan Erboy to maneuver through the defense. Gencay Tahir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ercüment Öztan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cankurtaran JK's Hayrullah İsmihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serhat Yenisey in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Ferhat Eldemir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ercüment Öztan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Serhat Yenisey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hatayspor's Serhat Yenisey got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
