After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Hulki Tanberk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agri JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hulki Tanberk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saffet Cenger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eyüp Candar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vefa İlmi having to make a save. A collision led to Agri JK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aytunç Tulunay hit a great ball. The supporters of MERT-SU booed when Agri JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürol Artan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Aytunç Tulunay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Saffet Cenger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuddusî Haspolatlı in the 96th minute.
