Tercüman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giray Babürşah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tercüman's zone, Arman Açıker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeynel Suyurgal came out of the goal and Arman Açıker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Arman Açıker fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real madrid's protests and gave Arman Açıker a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Arman Açıker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Açıker in the 23rd minute of play forced Tercüman's goalkeeper Zeynel Suyurgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeynel Suyurgal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Onsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mehmet Hamdi Ungan struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Zeynel Suyurgal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real madrid. In the 33rdth minute of the game Arman Açıker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tercüman's Zeynel Suyurgal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yusuf Ziya Onsoy in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeynel Suyurgal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 minutes, Arman Açıker made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tercüman's Zeynel Suyurgal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeynel Suyurgal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Açıker, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arman Açıker made a kick off. 0-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Yusuf Ziya Onsoy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arman Açıker in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeynel Suyurgal saved Tercüman from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Yusuf Ziya Onsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Arman Açıker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeynel Suyurgal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yusuf Ziya Onsoy came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Real madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yusuf Ziya Onsoy couldn't finish the play. Arman Açıker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
