Yenal Özyurek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gencer Ensar in the 20th minute. Gökmen Tanır hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gökmen Tanır could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Yenal Özyurek made a huge save. Fahri Baltaş hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cesme defense, Gencer Ensar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yenal Özyurek. The Cesme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yenal Özyurek should have stopped the shot.
