André Løvsø didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hasan Hüseyin Savtur went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Malkara SK's André Løvsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Hüseyin Savtur in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Türker Özsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Løvsø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Gülnar's goalkeeper Şafak Tublek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdi Adar. In the 16th minute, Gani Sarik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Arif Ensar Bekdemir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Løvsø showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abdi Adar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Şafak Tublek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şafak Tublek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabri Ceviz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Cahit Kunt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. André Løvsø was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasan Hüseyin Savtur to make the kick off. In the 61st match minute, Gülnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günay Tongar to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Sabri Ceviz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malkara SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabri Ceviz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şafak Tublek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Hüseyin Savtur in the 65th minute of play forced Malkara SK's goalkeeper André Løvsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Malkara SK's Sabri Ceviz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şafak Tublek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Løvsø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türker Özsan in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Bektaş Ali Tuğaltay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şafak Tublek. Gülnar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bektaş Ali Tuğaltay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Gülnar's Şafak Tublek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Mehmet Korhan in the 75th minute of play. Sabri Ceviz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Türker Özsan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but André Løvsø made a huge save. Malkara SK's Arcan Tibet got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Babür Kutlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Şafak Tublek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gülnar's İnanç Yekta got a free kick in the 84th minute.
