The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Botello Pinto succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Botello Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hüseyin Özerk. Cemisgezek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Botello Pinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hüseyin Özerk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Botello Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match, Botello Pinto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hüseyin Özerk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 3-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Botello Pinto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Durmuş İldeniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aktuğ Babaoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Botello Pinto sped through Cemisgezek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hüseyin Özerk. ERZURUMSPOR's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
