The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zafer Hinoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yusuf Bahadır Ganim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zafer Hinoğlu having to interfere. In the 14th minute Yusuf Bahadır Ganim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafer Hinoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cagaloglu were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Ilıca Spor Kulübü's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İsmet Türemen took the corner. The corner ended in İsmet Türemen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ilıca Spor Kulübü's Zafer Hinoğlu did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Cagaloglu's zone, Ejder Akağan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolgahan Tuğbay came out of the goal and Ejder Akağan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fethi Mukerrem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tolgahan Tuğbay having to make a save. Fethi Mukerrem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolgahan Tuğbay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Cagaloglu's Tolgahan Tuğbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ejder Akağan in the 28th minute of play. When Ejder Akağan came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ilıca Spor Kulübü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ejder Akağan couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the game, Yusuf Bahadır Ganim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cagaloglu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilıca Spor Kulübü the free kick. After 32 played minutes Cagaloglu got a freekick which was hit by Yusuf Bahadır Ganim. If Namık Kemal İzci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 42nd minute of the match Yusuf Bahadır Ganim completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Yusuf Bahadır Ganim a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 43rd match minute, Cagaloglu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Bahadır Ganim to maneuver through the defense. Tolgahan Tuğbay made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ejder Akağan sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 53 minutes, Ceyhan Nedret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilıca Spor Kulübü and the Cagaloglu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ceyhan Nedret kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Zafer Hinoğlu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Cagaloglu's Tolgahan Tuğbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ejder Akağan in the 69th minute of play. Tolgahan Tuğbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ejder Akağan's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cagaloglu's zone, Ejder Akağan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolgahan Tuğbay came out of the goal and Ejder Akağan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Ejder Akağan made a precise shot to the right of Tolgahan Tuğbay. Cagaloglu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tolgahan Tuğbay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ejder Akağan went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Ejder Akağan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fethi Mukerrem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
