Erenay Yaldırak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ümit Sağman's late challenge caught a Ilıca Spor Kulübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ümit Sağman helped the player get up and apologised. Ümit Sağman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Necat Ongen fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ilıca Spor Kulübü's protests and gave Necat Ongen a yellow card for diving instead. Necat Ongen hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Aytunç Cengaver was slow to take the kick. During this time Ilıca Spor Kulübü's players had a chance to rest. Serter Akburak was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 45thth minute of the game Necat Ongen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but тrαвzoɴѕpor's Doğuş Nevzat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute Ceyhan Nedret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğuş Nevzat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Necat Ongen made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Kerim Baştugay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doğuş Nevzat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ceyhan Nedret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Namık Uyaralp charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ceyhan Nedret who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Doğuş Nevzat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Doğuş Nevzat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necat Ongen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Fethi Mukerrem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilıca Spor Kulübü and the тrαвzoɴѕpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes, тrαвzoɴѕpor's Alim Taşboğa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zafer Hinoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in тrαвzoɴѕpor reached it. In the 72nd minute, İlmi Neşit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The тrαвzoɴѕpor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Doğuş Nevzat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necat Ongen in the 78th minute of play. Ceyhan Nedret's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doğuş Nevzat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The тrαвzoɴѕpor players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
